I now reached the end of my patience, and with the help of my friend we wrote a letter called my parting shot.
This was sent to;-

I, REDACTED
I am proud to be a trusted friend of REDACTED to the extent that he has confided in me with regard to the appalling abuse he suffered at the hands of Savile as a 12 year old boy and his subsequent dealings with all of your organisations as listed above.
REDACTED has battled manfully, through serious illnesses, to try to be heard and has met, in my view, with inhuman indifference by the establishment that you all represent in one way or another. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for the part you have played.
Here is a brief synopsis of some of the low points faced by REDACTED.
Jeremy Hunt. On the 26th February 2015 you said in Parliament the “victims who are brave enough to come forward must be believed” What you meant to say was that the “victims who are brave enough to come forward must be believed unless you are REDACTED”
Discussing REDACTED case in the house you said “There were a number of reports about which we might have been sceptical if we had read them in isolation, but when we read them together with other reports, we see a pattern and we can conclude, as the investigation has done, that those incidents did indeed take place. That is one of the big learning points”. REDACTED claim was still rejected.
West Yorkshire Police. When REDACTED decided to come forward he first went to a police station. After telling his story he was left alone for over half and hour whist consultation was sought. Two officers, in stab vests, then said that he was free to go as they would not be arresting him. At least he wasn’t tasered. Despite REDACTEDl requesting all communication be confidential by email, his family received a call from an officer identifying himself by name from Operation Yewtree and asking to speak to him!
Slater Gordon You dropped REDACTED case like a hot brick as soon as his claim was rejected by the NHS and that you would not be further remunerated. More importantly, despite recommending REDACTED attend, you did not attend or represent REDACTED at his crucial meeting with the NHS “Speaking Out” investigation.
Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust It was on your property that REDACTED was abused. Groomed by Savile as a 12 year old child whilst visiting LGI hospital then sexually assaulted by Savile at a pre-arranged meeting in his car.
Sexually assaulted by Savile a second time in his car at St James’s hospital, close to the chapel. Witnessed Savile sexually assault a dead woman on a trolley in a lift in the LGI hospital. Physically assaulted by Savile in a stairwell in the LGI hospital as a warning never to tell, causing long term injuries to his testicles.
REDACTED MP Fabian Hamilton has asked to meet with you - the Chief Executive to discuss the issues – refused.
REDACTED has asked to meet with you – refused
REDACTED has recently written to Julian Hartley and has not even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement. The Chief Executive is too far up his own sphincter to offer any form of professionalism or support it would seem.
Fabian Hamilton MP. Promising start by Fabian but eventually got fed up. Getting his secretary to write to REDACTED to close him down was unforgivable and he knows it.
Department of Health. Rejected REDACTED claim for compensation alongside many other claimants but have never said why. What is it about REDACTED claim that is so different to the many other claimants who succeeded? You did provide REDACTED, eventually, with first rate psychiatric care. Well done for this aspect as it has made a difference (REDACTED is still with us).
Kate Lambert. Confirmed that REDACTED could not have seen what he witnessed as there were procedures in place that would not support REDACTED testimony. Having a rampant paedophile roaming around Leeds hospitals seems to show that internal procedures were not all that they were cracked up to be.
Parliamentary Ombudsman. REDACTED asked for his case to be reviewed on the 13 December 2015 and in effect is still waiting for any sign of progress or completion despite asking Dame Julie to intervene (no reply!). Although you are only investigating whether the correct procedures were followed (they were not by the way) it seems that the NHS Litigation Authority is hiding behind “legal privilege” and will not disclose the information needed. How about reaching a view on the “balance of probability”?
Phil has now given up – a broken man. Facing up to one unbearable load of abuse as a 12 year old is bad enough. What you lot have put him through is not much better.
If you would like to contact him to apologise then as you know (but the Ombudsman, Police and CICA forgot!), for confidentiality reasons, he can only be contacted by e mail at REDACTED
Yours sincerely
REDACTED
